Hello Everyone! I’m Vietnamese, but born and raised in the Netherlands. I moved to the United states in 2012 and so far, my time at USF has been great. If I’m not stressing out on homework, I enjoy playing games, watching movies and browsing dank memes. Skill include eating massive amounts of pizza and falling asleep anywhere, anytime. I’m looking forward to meeting all of you and I hope you will have a great semester!
ALTRUISM CHAIR (FALL 2018)
Hi everyone! I am currently a senior in ChemE. I have lived in Tampa for the past 3 years, but I grew up in Naples, FL. I love chocolate milk and snuggling with my puppies. In my few hours of free time each month I like to binge watch TV or go to the beach. #PhillipCantCook #ButICan
Originally from Michigan, this is my fifth year here at USF and in addition to Ch.E. I am also studying for a minor in B.M.E., which I hope to pursue in graduate school. I love swimming and reading, so much in fact that one time I was grounded from reading (true story, ask me about it sometime). I got professionally involved with AIChE by becoming a director for Sampling Science, an awesome fundraiser that I expect everyone to attend! It is through Sampling Science that I was elected Co-Fundraising Chair where, in short, I am here to make money (aren’t we all) for the club and I hope to make this a record year for AIChE!
Hi! I'm Bryann and I am committed to helping make USF AIChE the best chapter again this year! A little about me, I am originally from Malaysia and have been living in the States for about 5 years now. I enjoy the maths and the sciences, taking pictures, and doing research. I am also heavily involved on campus, so if you need anything, I am your guy!
I'm a second year Chemical Engineering student, originally from Memphis, TN. Just as AICHE, I'm actively involved with the National Society of Black Engineers at USF. My background in engineering include being the current Academic Excellence Chair for NSBE, previous President of the Stem Academy in Memphis, and being the daughter of an inspirational engineer. I hope to continue on to obtain my masters in Chemical Engineering and using my Degree to enhance my community and people.
I'm a Junior and I have lived in Florida my entire life. Some things I enjoy are doing absolutely nothing, watching netflix, sleeping, and traveling. I am also a fabulous chef and pasta is my specialty. Other than that, I enjoy ice cream a lot and am on campus more than I'm at home
ALTRUISM CHAIR (SPRING 2018)
I'm a third year ChemE with a special interest in Biomedical Engineering. I love to travel and I've spent a month in a London studying abroad. I also love interacting with people and have spent my past two summer breaks working in hospitality. Watching sunsets and baking banana bread are two of my hobbies. I hope to one day combine my love for people and engineering by working for a Medical Engineering company.
I enjoy brewing craft beer, urban exploration, and interacting with and explaining science in simple ways so that everyone can more fully understand and better appreciate the world around us. I'm from around the Tampa but live mostly out in the Seffner-Brandon area. I teach a weight lifting class and work at my local YMCAs but won't pass up a dinner at Dunderbak's for anything.
I am entering my fifth year of study at USF. I was born in Florida and have lived here the majority of my life. I really did not enjoy chemistry in high school but somehow, chemistry clicked for me at USF and since my parents are both engineers, I saw a career in Chemical Engineering the option that fit me the best. I love to play video games, watch movies and eat so the basics of enjoying life.

CHEM-E CAR CHAIR
I'm a 6th year student at USF originally from Charleston, SC but basically a Floridian. During my time here I have worked for Georgia- Pacific, The Dow Chemical Company, and Chevron. I run on a combination of minimal sleep, large quantities of caffeine, comfort food, and stress. I'm excited for this year because love helping people with their resumes, job searches, and interviews.
Andrea Vargas is currently a fourth year student pursuing a B.S in Chemical Engineering. Her ultimate aspiration is to graduate, become friends with Gupta, and be "somewhat" happy in life. This is her second position with AIChE and plans to contribute more down her undergraduate career. Andrea developed into a great cook after mastering the art of Material and Energy Balances in cooking. She also has an "OK" fashion sense after working at H&M for three years.
I am a fourth year student from Fort Worth, Texas. I love helping other students be successful in whatever they hope to do. If you see me wearing tights to class, it is because I am coming from ballet. Fun fact, my baking skills are what led me to become a ChemE - cookies and chemicals are basically the same, right?
